There is no single export button in Exoid. Each section of the results produces its own formats, so the first question is not “which format do I want” but “which section am I exporting from”.

Which section produces what

Exoid does not export CSV. If a downstream tool expects one, export the Excel file from Responses and convert it.

Exporting from Responses

You export what you select. The file contains the response type active in the selector at the top left of the table, not the whole sample. The selection comes first and the format second: you always get one file, holding only the type of response that was active when you exported. Path: Results → Responses → select the response type → Export The number next to each type tells you how many responses that category holds. Picking the right group before exporting gives you separate, consistent datasets, with no cleaning after download.

The three datasets

Keeping the three populations separate keeps the main sample clean without losing anything.

The two formats

For quick analysis, manual checks and internal sharing. One row per response, with the metadata columns and one field per question, keyed by question code.

Exporting from Summary

Path: Results → Summary → Export
Ideal for reports and presentations, ready to hand to stakeholders and clients.
The export follows the state of the section: the time range, the filters and the comparison clusters you have active are reflected in the file.
The Summary export is a separate flow from the dataset export. The choice between Normal, Screened-out and Discarded responses only applies to the export from the responses table.

Exporting from the AI Report

PowerPoint and Word come out of the AI Report tab, and only from there. The .pptx generation asks you for number of slides, language, slide density, tone of voice and target audience before it runs. See AI Report.

Sharing instead of exporting

If the other side just needs to read the results, a public link often beats a file: it always shows the latest data and you decide which sections are visible. See Sharing results.
