Quotas live in the campaign settings, in the Quota tab, and in the Quotas panel on the canvas toolbar. A switch turns quotas on for the campaign; below it sits the list of the quotas you have created.
How it works

The respondent answers
The participant gives an answer subject to a quota.

The system evaluates the rule
Exoid checks whether the rule’s condition is met.

Quota not reached
The respondent carries on with the interview as normal.

Quota reached
The interview stops and the respondent sees the quota reached screen.
Building a quota
Every quota is made of three things.text
The label that identifies the quota in the list.
number
How many completes you accept for that quota. Past this number, respondents who match the condition are stopped.
condition builder
Which respondents the quota applies to: question, operator and value, with nested groups. It is the same condition builder you use for results filters and for visibility conditions.
Example of a quota rule configuration
Answer groups
You can bundle several answer options into the same quota rule with the Or operator. The cap then applies to the sum of respondents who chose any of the values in the group, not to each option separately.Example: a quota of 15 respondents for people who drink beverages “Every day” Or “2-4 times a week”. The two options share a single cap.
This way you control sample distribution even when more than one criterion is in play.

What a stopped respondent sees is configurable, so nobody is left at a dead end.URL
