On this page you take a study from an empty account to your first results. Follow the steps in order: by the end you’ll have a live interview, distributed, with data to analyze. The steps below map onto the three stages of the campaign bar — Build, Share, Results — with the workspace set-up happening once, before any of them.
1

Sign in and create the workspace

Go to app.exoid.ai and enter your email: you’ll receive a 6-digit OTP code to type into the verification screen.Complete your profile (first and last name, how you heard about us, optional photo), then set up the organization: name, logo and billing country. The workspace is operational right away.
If a colleague invited you, the path is shorter: open the link in the invitation email, verify your email with the OTP, complete your profile and click Accept to join as a Collaborator. All three access scenarios are described in Access and first steps.
2

Create the campaign

After logging in you land on the Dashboard. If there are no campaigns yet, the screen prompts you to create one straight away.New campaign opens the What do you want to build? screen, and there are two ways forward. Describe your study to the AI — attaching a PDF or DOCX brief if you have one — and it drafts the interview for you. Or choose Start from scratch and build it block by block.Either way you land in the Builder: with the canvas already populated, or empty and ready for your first blocks.
3

Add the questions

In the Builder you have two ways to add a block, and the difference is in the connections.
The Add block button opens the question type menu and inserts the block in sequence, automatically creating the logical connection with the previous one. It’s the fastest way to build a linear flow.
Choose question types based on what you want to measure: single and multiple choice, slider, swipe, open-ended, rating, matrix, ranking, dropdown, image choice, number input and more. You’ll find the full list in Question types.
Set the question code of each block while you build — Q1_AGE, S1_ROLE. It’s the identifier results, exports, filters and scripts refer to, and renaming it later means going back over everything that used it. See Block options.
4

Connect the blocks and check for isolated nodes

Every block has an exit point at the bottom and an entry point at the top: drag the connector from one to the other to define the path. If you use Go To inside a condition, the connection is created automatically and stays in sync with the logic. You can move blocks freely and realign them with Auto resize in the canvas bar: it tidies up branches and spacing without touching any logic.
On publishing, Exoid checks that every question is connected. If a block is left isolated you’ll see the warning “Unconnected nodes — A question is not connected and will not appear in your survey”. The block exists in the Builder but can’t be reached: respondents won’t see it, yet it will still show up in the results. Connect the block or delete it before going live.
5

Customize the theme

Open Edit survey details in the canvas bar. The Theme tab sets the four colors of the interview — text, background, button and button text — with a live preview. The Branding tab takes your logo, with its position (left, centre, right) and shape (square or rectangular), plus a cover image.Details in Theme and branding.
6

Publish your study

While the campaign is in Draft, nobody can access it. To make it fillable use the Publish button in the top right, or the Enable survey toggle in the settings: the campaign moves to Live. You can still edit the interview after publishing: once you’re done, click Publish changes to update the live version. See Publishing your study.
7

Distribute or recruit

Now choose how to reach your respondents.
8

Read the results

As soon as the first responses come in, open the Summary: closed questions become bar charts with percentage distributions, while open-ended answers are summarized by AI into recurring keywords and mention counts.Use Filters to isolate a subgroup: you pick one of your questions by its question code, an operator and a value, and stack the conditions into groups. Use Add comparison to build named comparison clusters and read two segments side by side in the same charts. Then try Talk with Data to query the dataset in natural language. The full detail of this section is in Summary.
There is no library of ready-made demographic attributes. If you want to segment by age, gender or region, those have to be questions in your interview.
You now have an active workspace, a study in Live status with every block connected, a distribution channel up and running, and your first readable results in the Summary.
