Summary is the first view you open when you want to understand what the data says as a whole. The header tells you what you are looking at — “Detailed analysis of N questions and M responses” — and below it every question gets its own chart.

What Summary shows

For every single choice or multiple choice question, Exoid generates a readable bar chart with the percentage distribution of each option.
Text responses are processed by AI and condensed into three elements: the most recurring keywords, the mention count and the full list of collected responses.
Together they give you an immediate quantitative read and the qualitative context that explains it.

Show statistics

Every question carries a Show statistics toggle. Turn it on and the mean and the median appear next to the chart, so you can read the central tendency without exporting anything.

Filters

Filters are built on your questions, not on a library of ready-made demographic attributes. Each condition has three parts:

Pick the question

Questions are listed by their question code, the identifier you set in the Builder, for example Q1_AGE.

Pick the operator

The operator defines how the answer is matched.

Pick the value

Choose one of the answer options of that question, or type the value you are looking for.
You can stack several conditions and organize them into nested groups, the same way you build a visibility condition or a quota. Charts and counts recalculate on the filtered subset, and you can remove the filters at any time to go back to the full dataset.
If you want to segment by age, role or geography, those attributes have to be questions in your interview. Give them clear question codes and they become filterable.

Add comparison

Add comparison opens “Create comparison cluster”: you define segments and Exoid draws them together inside the same charts, so differences between groups stand out. This is how you cross your data.

Open the configuration

From Summary click Add comparison: the cluster configuration window opens.

Name the cluster

Give the group a recognizable name, for example “IT team”.

Pick an identifying color

The color distinguishes the cluster from the other groups in the charts.

Set the conditions

Define who belongs to the cluster with the same question–operator–value conditions used by the filters.

Create the cluster

Save it, and it appears in the Summary charts.
Create two clusters at once and compare them directly, instead of applying one filter, reading the numbers, then applying the other.

Exporting the Summary

From this section Export produces two formats: PDF and Excel. Raw response-level data lives in the Responses tab, which exports Excel and SPSS.
