New features

Validation for open text and “Other” responses

Validation rules can now be applied to open text fields and “Other” options, as already available in standard question types. You can set minimum and maximum length and specific formats such as email, integer, date, and numeric values.

Option locking and randomization control

Randomization of answer options is now more precise: you can prevent the last option from being randomized and keep options such as “Other” or exclusive answers fixed in position. Exclusive options are no longer included in randomization.

Conditions based on “Other” responses

When a respondent selects “Other”, the value typed in the open field can be used inside conditions, so logic can branch on what the respondent actually wrote.

Reordering options across all question types

Answer options can be reordered in all major question types, including multiple choice, ranking, matrices, and dropdowns, at any stage of survey creation.

Improved matrix flexibility

Matrix questions keep at least one column even when all rows are removed, so the structure stays editable.

”Go To” navigation in conditions

“Go To” actions are now available directly in the conditions modal to define the respondent’s path without manually connecting nodes in the canvas. Setting a “Go To” creates the connection between nodes automatically, and connecting nodes manually updates the condition accordingly, keeping flow and logic aligned in both directions.
