# Theme and branding

> Set the interview colors, logo and cover image so respondents recognize who's asking.

Theme and branding put your colors and your logo on the interview, so whoever opens it immediately recognizes who is running it. Set them up before distributing a campaign to clients, candidates or external consumers — when the interview leaves your team and lands in front of people who don't know you.

## Title and description

At the top of the panel you set the **title** and the **description** of the interview: the name the study carries and the line that explains what it's about.

## Theme

The **Theme** tab holds the colors of the interview:

| Setting     | What it colors                                   |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Text color  | The question text and the copy of the interview. |
| Background  | The background of the page the respondent sees.  |
| Button      | The fill of the buttons.                         |
| Button text | The label inside the buttons.                    |

The preview updates live, so you see the effect of every change while you make it.

<Tip>
  Keep enough contrast between text and background, and between button and button text: they have to stay readable on small screens and in poor lighting too.

## Branding

The **Branding** tab holds the visual identity:

    Left, center or right.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose its shape">
    Square or rectangular, depending on the file you uploaded.

  <Step title="Add a cover image">
    The image that introduces the interview.
  </Step>
